Listening groups are spaces for people to talk about their experiences of finding God in their prayer and daily life. We teach our leaders how to listen deeply, ask good questions and discern where the Holy Spirit is moving.

Serving as a listening group leader is a meaningful way to go deeper in Ignatian spiritual practices. It is life giving and faith building to accompany others on their spiritual journeys.

Spiritual listening is a skill that is easier caught than taught. We pair new leaders with more experienced leaders who model effective listening and provide guidance in a supportive environment.

The next training opportunity for new leaders is Journey with Jesus, Feb. 5-March 5, 2026. New leader orientation meeting is January 29, 2026, 7—9pm, Eastern via Zoom. Finally, we will have a debrief session on March 12.
